Hi Onyxishere, I am having this same problem. When I check my connection it shows everything is working, I can download updated from the store but when I try to play a game it says profile does not have the correct permissions for xbox live. I have tried
different wifi connections and a hard line connection, and followed the steps you mentioned above but still cant get it to work. Do you have any other advise?
