Error Code 8015D003 with bad credentials. Need help

So my son can't sign in suddenly. Everything was fine until today.

Now we're getting an Error Code 8015D003.

I have changed the password, fixed the account. Basically did EVERYTHING I was told to and still nothing.

Now we don't have Netflix, XboxLive or other Video because of this problem that just suddenly occurred.

Need help asap.

(btw, I'm a dad trying to figure this stuff out, so I'm ALREADY frustrated and in over my head.) :(

Hi there!

I just performed a search using the Xbox Error Lookup Tool, and it came up with this page: support.xbox.com/.../error-code-8015d003

Solutions include clearing the system cache, and moving and re-downloading your profile - more step by step info can be found on the link I've included, above.

Yeah, sorry. When I said I'd done everything I was told, that's exactly the page I meant.

We've done all that and still nothing.

He can sign in to download his profile and everyhting else, but when it comes to connecting to xbox live, nothing.

I've changed the password, put in several "proofs" including 2 phone numbers, 2 emails a computer and a password question.

We've cleared the cache, verified everything about everything and re-downloaded is profile, still nothing. I need a solution NOT associated with "Is your tv on". I need a real solution to this problem

Sorry to sound like a jerk, but this is BEYOND frustrating at this point as I've spent nearly 3 hours trying to fix all these bugs. Now I'm on day 2.

Hey there Moss!  It sounds like you've got your proofs set up properly and it sounds you've already done some of these steps, I just want to make sure you'e done them in this order:

-Delete profile ONLY (do NOT delete profile and items; here's a guide if you need it: support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete).

-Clear system cache (another guide, if you need it: support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache).

-Restart your console.

-Download your profile (use the first guide again).

 After doing those steps in that order, let us know the results. Also, I'm showing you as a silver member. Are you trying to stream Netflix on your console? Because you need to be a gold member in order to do so.

Freakest Moss was given to us randomly when setting up xbox. EDCR MyBro is the Gold member we're trying to sign into.

Does that make a difference? MyBro has been a Gold member for a very long time.

I know that you try some or all of the following steps, but i would like to ask you to do it this way again.

- Verify/Update Security proofs (Alternative Email, Phone, Secret Question & Answer) Enter

account.live.com/.../manage  

- Delete profile ONLY from your storage Device. (See support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete)

1.Go to Settings, and then select System.

2.Select Storage.

3.Select All Devices.

4.Select Gamer Profiles.

5.Select the gamertag that you want to delete.

6.Select Delete.

7.Select one of the following:

◦Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.

◦Select Delete Profile and Items to delete the profile and the associated saved games and achievements.

- Delete Cache (3 Times in A Row) (See support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache)

1.- Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.

2.- Select Storage or Memory.

3.- Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

4.- Select Clear System Cache.

5.- When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

- Power cycle your console.

- Download Profile Again.

Let us know the results.

Did it.

Nothing.

I don't understand. It says it succesfully downloaded profile and even said EDCRMyBro online. It even said he had 4 friends online, but when it asked to enter my email and password again, it gives the SAME error 8015D002.

You also can try delete system update and download it again. Here the steps:

- Go To Settings, and then select Storage

- Highlight Hard Drive

- On your controller, press the following button sequence:

Press the left bumper.

Press the right bumper.

Press the X button.

Press the left bumper.

Press the right bumper.

Press the X button.

- Power Cycle Console

- Then take update.

Let us know the results.

I've also deleted and re-downloaded the main profile FreakiestMoss.

Still nothing.

I have to go work now. Will try whatever you come up with tomorrow.
