Error Code 80151012

My account worked fine yesterday, then today I start up and I get error code 831188FE, so I follow the steps to fix this code, and when I go to re-download my profile, I get error code 80151012.  SO I go to system support and run through the steps to fix THIS code, and nothing works.  I get a quarter of the way into the recovery, and the error pops up again.  What is going on?

After doing so, try restarting your console and re-downloading your profile again.

This exact thing happened to me last week. So I contacted the support and did all the steps that they told me to do. Didn't work. They put my case forward to Advocacy Team, whose help didn't work. They told me that my account was locked and should contact Microsoft Support. So I contacted them, they told me that my account was working and I should contact Xbox support again if my account didn't work, because my problem was about Xbox Live and they couldn't help on that matter. So here I am looking for help. Can somebody here help me?

Otherwise try resetting your password here: account.live.com/.../reset

Yeah, I have the exact same problem. Started with 831188FE, followed the steps to fix this code and now  when I go to re-download my profile, I get error code 80151012. So I went from not being able to get on Xbox Live to not being able to use my Xbox. Fantastic. Any help would be welcome.

Try this, it helped me to solve this problem: log into account.live.com with your account on couple of different devices and check the "I use this device often" checkbox when inserting the verification code. After that clear your Xbox's cache 3 times and start it again (not sure if this is a necessary thing to do) and try to download your profile again.


With this I was able to redownload my profile and log back into Xbox Live, hopefully it helps you too.
