error code 80049c0b

Hello, I got a message telling me to add 2 security proofs, and so far I've tried doing it via text, I put my number in and received the code but when I try to verify on the computer it goes around in circles, I click confirm tells me to access via my suggested PC which I was using at the time then when I clicked on it takes me back to the page to confirm then back on access on PC again and over and over again..

still doing the same thing I get this message: "Thanks! You added this earlier, but we can't use it until you verify it at http://account.live.com/p  While you're there, it's a good idea to check the other on your account, too. Code: 80049C0B" still wont let my verify it on my PC though

Why does my xbox need better security than my BANK?!

This is the most annoying thing I've ever dealt with.

I've verified my phone about a dozen times.

I still get a message indicating I can't use that number until it's been verified.

I'm having the same issue, wont let me sign in until I verify the account with trusted email / text. I've given my details, it says "thanks we already have those details, please verify them at http://account.live.com/p " Which I have done, repeatedly. The 80049C0B error message keeps popping up, it's beyond annoying. It's like they want me to cancel my account out of frustration ?!
