ERROR 80151012. PLEASE HELP ME!

So yesterday I turned on my xbox and entered the four number code to sign in, and a message popped up saying that I need to sign in with my email and password to update security or something. So I put my email and password in and it came up with ERROR 80151012 and I tried at least 15 times and reset my password like three times and it still couldn't sign me in. And today I had a thought that re-downloading my profile might work.. It didn't, it just made it worse. NOTE: before I tried to re-download my profile my account was signed in, just not xbox live GOLD, so that meant I was still in my profile and could earn achievements and still use my saved games on games like Oblivion and Fallout 3. But ever since I tried to re-download my account to get it working I now cant sign in my account at ALL, So if I pressed the Xbox button on the controller, where it says sign in- profiles it will say 0 accounts. And every time I try to download I get the ERROR code. As you could imagine, I'm furious about this because now I might as well sell my xbox and games because there useless to me now. And I also have paid for lots of DLC like the 4000 microsoft points season pass for Black ops 2 and aswell still have a GOLD membership. ANY help would be amazing.

To resolve this problem, try to reset the password for your Microsoft account:

Go to the Reset your password page.

Click to select I think someone else is using my Microsoft account.

Click Reset your password.

Enter your Microsoft account name.

Type the characters that you see in the picture.

Click Next.

Click Customer support.

When Customer support appears, click it.

Enter the Microsoft account that you are trying to recover.

Enter your contact email address.

Click Continue.

Validate your identity by providing as much information as you can on the Microsoft account recovery page.

Follow the instructions to finish.

If you still experience the problem, contact Xbox Support to determine why your account was locked.

Can you confirm that you profile is completely removed from your console. Go to System Settings. Choose your storage device and select Gamer Profiles. Do you see your profile?

If you haven’t already, start by adding security proofs like phone numbers, alternate email addresses, and security questions and answers to your Microsoft account. This information is crucial to ensure that your account is well protected and meets the security standars that Microsoft now provides.

With this information added and updated, we can now start focus on the next step which involves clearing your Xbox system cache and redownload your profile.

Clear the Xbox system cache.

  1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
  2. Select Storage or Memory.
  3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
  4. Select Clear System Cache.


Download your Xbox LIVE profile.

Press X to sign out of your profile.

  1. Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).
  2. Select Download Profile.
  3. Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
  4. Enter your Microsoft account password.

I have EXACTLY the same issue, have spent 12 days trying to get it back with no solutions or reasons as to what is going on :o(
