Error 80072741

Hi, I was trying to get onto my account settings yesterday on Xbox Live and it wouldn't load, instead it comes up with:

'This feature is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. Status Code: 80072741-00b96084-1ed9e66e.'

I tested my network settings and it said everything was up and running, I have a wired connection directly from the modem. Usually it works fine but I can't buy anything, I can play online fine so far. I came back on this morning to try and download the Black Ops 2 dlc but it won't allow me, keeps coming up with the same error. I tried a clear system cache but it did nothing. =\

Hello.Is everything working ok now??If not you can try and power off your Router for 30sec and power back on.

Hey Chicky!

If you've already tried deleting your cache there could be a couple of other issues still affecting you. If you have any pending downloads, that could be giving your system some trouble. Try clearing out the Marketplace system cache which is a little different.

1)On your console, go to Settings, then select System.

2)Select Storage, and then select your primary storage device.

3)Select System Items.

4)Select Marketplace System Data.

5)Select Delete.

Restart your console.

If that doesn't do the trick, then try deleting your profile and re-downloading it:

1) Go to Settings

2) pick System

3) choose Storage

4) pick All Devices

5) choose Gamer Profiles

6) pick the gamertag

7) choose Delete, and

8) pick Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements. Now, re-download your profile.

Re-download

1) Press the Xbox Guide button

2) Select Download Profile (and if you don't see it, press the blue X button to make sure you're not signed in) and proceed with Profile Download.

3) Enter the Windows Live ID for your Xbox LIVE gamertag when asked.

4) Enter the password for that account.
