[ENGINEER NEEDED] Connecting HDMI Switcher into Xbox One HDMI Input?

A feature in the Xbox One is you can plug either a cable box or Xbox 360, Ps4, Ps3 ect. Into the Xbox One HDMI Input and use that console on the Xbox One interface.

My Question is can I plug an HDMI Switcher into the Xbox One HDMI Input and have a Cable box and Xbox 360 on the other end of the Switcher and be able to switch between the 2 by a click of a button. I just want to know if this would work and the consequences of doing it.

I am looking for someone with Experience to answer this Question. Maybe even someone who can test this.

Hey ProMonkeyGamer,

That is a great idea and question! Unfortunately that feature is not currently support at this time. I would suggest going to the wishlist/feedback forums and placing your thoughts there so the right people can see your thoughts and possibly make that happen.

It is possible, however attempting to play Xbox 360 through your Xbox One will result in choppy video, as will your cable. The reason I know this is because I've tried it.
