E68 error with 2 different hard drives.

So i bought a used 250G xbox 360 slim just a little more then a year ago. It has worked perfectly up till recently while in the middle of my madden game the xbox restarts on its own and a e68 error comes up. I watched about 25 different you tube videos about fixes for it. It will start working if i take the hard drive out for about 15-20 mins. Also it works fine with no hard drive in. I can watch netflix all day but if i try playing a game about 15-20 mins into the game i get the error. I dont believe a game can cause a E68 error while in the middle of playing it? so i ordered a new hard drive and 15-20 mins in of playing on the new hard drive it happens again. Any suggestions on what the problem may be?

Greetings, you bought an original HDD by Microsoft or a 3rd party one?

Are you able to use this HDD at a friend's console?

If everything is working, then your console could be broken.

Or follow this guide, please: support.xbox.com/.../error-code-lookup by using your error code (E68).
