E204

I am a Xbox preview member and have recently downloaded the new updated display upon downloading this tē I got an error E204 and am now unable  get on xbox live please resolve this problem immediately.

Honestly, with the E204 error, a power cycle should fix it. Press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds on the console until it shuts off completely. When it comes back up, make sure you see the green screen to ensure it was done correctly.

If you still get the error, please refer to the Preview forums to see if they have any other troubleshooting you can try!

Hello,

I have this error since I bought my Xbox 2 days ago.
I change it to the the store but I have the same problem. I tried to fix it with all method, but no change...
Even when I call the support they tell me to reboot or download without Web and nothing change.

HOW can this error be fix ???????!!!!!! A lot of poeple seems to have the same problem..

I bought an XBOX but I can't play ???
The support told me "we gonna fix this, there is just a problem with the compatibility windows10, it gonna be fix in maybe one month".

The level of the microsoft competence equal 0 I think.

They send to us an Update who dont work.... Well played !

i have the preview app but it says that i have to wait for a message to join ive been invited many times and have talked to xbox support witch lead me here

If a friend has invited you you'll need to wait, as not all invites are guaranteed acceptance into the Preview Program. Keep an eye out on your Xbox Live messages for communication if you are accepted into the Xbox One Update Preview.
