E203 00000803 8007005 error

Hello all. I'm getting a system error. The system boots to a green xbox loading screen then goes to an error screen and thats it.  It reads E203 00000803 8007005. Spoke to  customer service, they had me try and hard restart 15 times, no avail. Told me to make a service repair on site.  When i go to myservice.xbox.com and try and submit a claim to have them send me a new one i keep getting an error also. Keeps telling me to put in my serial number. I've done this already. This sucks.

Yeah. the only solution was to exchange for a new one.. Going to take a week to get here. This sucks.

I've received it as well, was on chat support for over two hours. They're processing an 'Advance Exchange' but I have to call phone support first.

I had this error, the only solution I had, and this was a shot in the dark... but to unplug your Xbox from the power supply, wait 30 seconds, plug it back it,
hold down the "start button" for 30 seconds, and then turn on the XBox.

I don't know if the last bit worked, but I did those exact things, the XBox restarted, and re-downloaded the update, and from there I was able to get it working with a
few minutes of waiting for the XBox to play catch up, but in turn after everything was said and done, I played a few games, and haven't had a crash since.

Only thing I can suggest is returning it to the store you got it from, or calling MS themselves.  Good luck.

I have a advanced replacement on the way from MS. Going to take a week to get here.

I contacted support to ask if I get a free game since I got the E203 error and was replacing my system with Advance Exchange. They started with "Customers who will undergone the Advance Xbox One Replacement with disc drive issues can receive a free game. This is actually not offered to all, but only rare cases." I pushed back a little pointing out how absurd it was that people with completely dead systems don't get anything but those with partially working ones do. I then said, at least my PS4 is functioning. Right when I was going to close the chat box the guy said "But I can be able to give you a free game, one amongst  Ryse, Forza Motorsport 5, Zoo Tycoon, and Dead Rising 3 are available." He then gave me a reference number and said when I get my replacement system I can give that number to a representative to get my free game.

Hi all just want to let you know  I received my Advanced exchange. It was an entire new Xbox kinect and accessories. When i booted it up it took forever, i became extremely nervous since it stuck on the green load screen for about 30-40 seconds.  Long story short its working.

Unfortunately the only response for this specific error seems to be to contact Microsoft Support directly. I wish luck to anyone impacted and hope for a speedy replacement.
