I was playing my console last night, when my room mate decided to lift my xbox up and kind of rotate it about and give it a good look over to see how I connected my surround sound. He was gentle with it, didn't shake it or drop it or anything. Just wanted to have a look. Now, I am well aware that you NEVER move a console during play, because it will destroy your disc - which is what happened. The game was replaced, I'm not concerned about that, my question is, is there any way that my console was damaged because of this? It plays fine now, and I'm not hearing anything out of the ordinary, I am just worried that my disc drive or other hardware was affected in some manner due to this.
