dlc content not available to other family members

Hi,

Recently upgraded my Elite to an 250gb S model.  Used the transfer cable and transferred the licenses/redownloaded dlc.  Whereas before on the old console both my step-daughters could access the dlc they cant on the new console? Any ideas?

That's because you still need to transfer your licenses from the old Xbox to the new Xbox.

Go to xbox.com/drm to transfer them.

Already done that but still not working. For example Trials HD just shows up as trial mode on their accounts but full version on mine on new console but on old one it was available to all of us.

If another account bought the content then you would need to do the license transfer for that account as well.

Do this: *Starting from the xbox.com home page hover your mouse over the my xbox tab. *Then click accounts. *Now scroll down and you will find (in big bolded words) Device management. *Under that is 1 link. *Click "Transfer content licenses" and follow the instructions.

Here is some info from there: ( Note: I did not copy the whole thing due to personal info being there) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you're replacing an old Xbox 360 console with a new one, and you previously downloaded content on the old console from Xbox LIVE Marketplace, you need to restore the licenses for that content on your new console. If you don't, you'll only be able to use that content when signed in to Xbox LIVE with the profile that originally downloaded it.

The license restoration process has two parts:

Transfer your licenses here on Xbox.com, then

Download them manually on your console.

Hi - if you have attempted the license transfer but it did not complete successfully, give our Phone Support team a shot: support.xbox.com/pages/contact-us.aspx

We are having the exact same problem. We have a family account with three members on it. All DLC was purchased by one member in the Family account, but we all three had access to it on our first Xbox. That Xbox broke and we replaced it, transferred the licenses to the new one and re-downloaded the content - and only the member that downloaded it originally can access it now. The other two in the Family Account only get the trial version, and have to pay to try and download it again. We tried calling Xbox Customer Service twice and got no help at all - they just keep saying to transfer the licenses, which we've done already. One rep put us on hold for 20 minutes, then disconnected. If you figure out how to fix it please respond to this thread with the answer...
