DIY HALO UNSC Vanguard Monitor Project Microphone Help
Alright I have a question for all of you DIYers out there. Im brand new to this forum so if I am doing something wrong or you don't understand what I mean, feel free to ask questions. So currently I am trying to making something like the HALO UNSC Vanguard
portable monitor here: http://www.amazon.com/Vanguard-Personal-Environment-Xbox-360-6304300/dp/B0091A3AHA. I purchased a monitor and a VGA cable for my Xbox 360 Slim and hooked it all up and it worked very well. To avoid using speakers, I am temporarily using
a pair of wireless headsets that I had. The problem is, I can't use the Xbox headset while using headphones. If its possible, I would like to have a dedicated set of headphones that are setup to receive voice from like a party or game chat AND the sounds from
the game, which I know how to do, and then I would like to have just a microphone (without a speaker) plugged into my wireless controller that I can talk through. If its possible, I would like to use something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Mini-Microphone-iPhone-touch-classic/dp/B00277EMQ2/ref=pd_bxgy_pc_img_y
and then just buy a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter. Would this work? If not, what would work? I would like to know before I order anything. Also, let me know if you're interested and ill post more detail or an Instructable for step by step instructions on how to make
what I did (with pictures!!) Thanks!!!
