Disk Drive Problem

hey, so I have had an Xbox One since Christmas and occasionally it wouldn't read the disk. Over time its got worse to the point I have had to take out of the drive and put it back in maybe 30 times, now it wont read any disk at all, what should I do?

I know that, but I mean it wont actually read any disk now, makes a weird sound and nothing happens. got nothing to do with digital

i had the same problem, just kept getting worse. you're gonna have to set up a repair. it's free under warranty so might as well. that's what i did, it's coming back this week. it only takes like 2 weeks for the repair.

Try this:

Uninstall Blue-Ray App.

Go to Settings>Disc and Blu-ray Settings

Make sure there is a check at 24 hz.

Scroll down to persistent storage, clear it.

Go back to the home screen.

Make sure no disc is in disc drive

Power cycle console for 10 seconds

Power drain, and unplug everything

Wait for the light on PSU to disappear

Reconnect cables in this order: HDMI (both, if necessary), Kinect, Ethernet (if necessary),  Power cord to console and directly to wall, (if possible.)

Restart console

Download Blu-Ray player app

Go to home screen, and test:
