Make sure your NAT type is open at all times clear your system catch and unplug your router from your wall and what kind of connection are you using? Wired? or Wireless?

Try this link first: support.xbox.com/.../performance

if that doesn't work, try deleting and redownloading your gamertag (this usually helps as well, you'd be surprised): support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

Also, you can try as the others suggested, though personally it sounds like something more than NAT, but it's worth trying anyways: support.xbox.com/.../nat-type-strict

Also, are you connected wirelessly? If so, what is your download/upload speed? You can get that at www.speedtest.net.

If you have low bandwidth, that can sometimes cause frequent disconnects when you are attempting to do something more taxing to your bandwidth, such as play online. It may also be a poor wireless connection. Is your router far from your console if you are wireless?
