Disconnecting from Xbox LiVe

Ok I am sure this has been answered but I could not find it. I just bought the Dual Band Wifi adapter for my xbox. I can MAYBE get through 1 game of Blops2 before I get disconnected from xbox live, I even tried COD MW3 and the same issue. I checked signal and I have FULL bars. Until yesterday I have been using Wifi bridge from Xbox via ethernet cable to macbook and using its' airport connection. That setup has been solid with no drops and no disconnects. It just got to hard to carry a laptop with cables and xbox and everything that goes with it just to play live. I don't understand why I am having this problem. Thanks in advance David

Please check for possible sources of wireless interference.

1) Wireless stereo headphones, such as the MadKatz or Turtle Beach.

2) Baby monitors within a yard / metre of the Xbox

3) Cordless phones within a yard / metre of the Xbox

Please turn those off for a test and see if the problem persists.

Also, when you go to Settings | System Settings | Network Settings - how many bars does your network have?

Ok well here is an update.  I work graveyards so my replies come at odd times.  So I reconnected to Xbox Live via wifi adapter (black) and again disconnected 3 times on 3 games.  I was put on probation LOL.  So I went back to the wifi bridge via Toshiba laptop and BOOM was playing LIVE from 12am till 5am straight and no disconnects.  I bought the adapter to make things easier but seems to be a little more trouble than I anticipated.  Thanks in advance
