Disconnecting from XBL...

Everytime I start my Xbox, everything connects just fine, no issues... Then after about 30 seconds to a minute I will get the "Disconnected from Xbox Live" message, directly after being disconnected I can reconnect just fine. I am not sure when this problem first started but I've always used it wirelessly and hadn't had any issues.. I just recently re-activated my Xbox Live and it started happening after about 2 days. The router is somewhat new but it worked fine with it before.

Network Connection Type: Wireless

If Wireless, what type of encryption are you using? WEP

Things you have tried:

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes

Is NAT Type Open? Yes

Any Error Codes you encounter: None

What type of internet do you have? Cable 10MB

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Coaxl

When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen? Everything connects fine, there is no message.

Hey there, please give step 2 a try in this guide. If that doesn't do the trick, please try the third solution listed.

If you do not have a device that is dependant on UPnP, I would disable it and see if this helps your situation.
