Disconnected From Xbox Live

When I first got the new 360 and my 1st month free on gold finished, it down graded me to silver. One day after a power outage, xbox live just fully disconnected me and I couldn't reconnect ever since. If anyone has a solution, PLEASE REPLY A.S.A.P.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!f

Typically a down grade to Silver will  not keep you from connecting to Xbox Live.  But the power outage may have damaged the Network Port on the back of your Xbox.  In which case, you would need to send it in for repair.

You might try running the "Restore to factory defualts function, on the Xbox.  It is in the Network Settings under additional settings.  Then reboot your Xbox and try your connection again.

When you run the Xbox Live connection test, what messages does it give?
