Disconnected from Xbox Live

Hi,

When I turn my console on I receive a message saying "Disconnected from Xbox Live". There doesn't appear to be a problem with my connection because when I sign out of my profile I can see the online features, ads, game ratings, etc.

So far, I've have:

  1. Unplugged my console and router and left them for five minutes before restarting;
  2. Cleared my cache three times.

I've also run a connection test, the results of which are as follows:

W: 0000 - 000B

X: 0000 - F001

Y: 20A8 - 4840

Z: 0000 - 0000

ID: FFFF - FFFF

L: 8015 - 1014

Q: 0015 - 10F1

T: WIRED

I changed my email address a couple of months ago but I've connected to Xbox Live on a number of occasions since then.

I have got it working now, though: I just deleted my profile from the console and re-downloaded it, so I'm wondering if there was a problem with my credentials.

Hi Plop! Thanks for creating your own thread and providing the info. Let's see if we can get to the bottom of this.

Has anything changed recently? New ISP? New equipment? Moved location of console/router?

I would suggest we first try out a direct connection. Do you have the ability to connect your console directly to your router? 

If that doesn't help, I would suggest you run through solutions 5-8 in our support article, Issues with connection speeds or disconnects.
