Hey there Famous!

Start troubleshoot on your console.

Clear your Xbox system cache
Delete your profile (delete profile only) and download it.

Could you roll back your router settings so that you have UPnP enabled and disable Port Forwarding. On your router, go to (Settings > Advanced > Home Network > Devices) say yes to "Always use this ip address" option. On your console, reset network settings to the defaults.

Post back and let us know how it goes.

No luck, still disconnects me.. I can sign in straight away aswell so its not like my Hub drops connection completely

It's quite possible that there might be some sort of problem with your Home Hub 2, it seems that people were facing the same problem just called up BT and got their Home Hub's replaced and that seemed to fix the problem. I'm not quite sure what your exact setup is or if your using an actual router along with the Home Hub 2 as some people do.

My complete setup is;

Xbox 360 60gb version

Homehub 2 Type B

Wired connection straight from hub to xbox

Router settings (taidaras suggestion)

UPnP enabled

Ports NOT forwarded

IP always assigned to my xbox

In my opinion it could be DHCP Server or the hub itself

Has anyone else had the exact same problem as me using the HH and replacing it was the solution?

Someone actually had a problem like yours but they were using wireless as their primary, it was suggested that they change their channel (which they did from the default to 11, to 6, and then to 1) which did not work for them, they then asked them to go wired (and this did not fix the problem either) the person replied saying that they had some success getting online by assigning the XBOX a static IP since it seemed that the IP was renewing every 20 minutes (and the person was getting kicked off every ~10-20 minutes) after trying that they replied saying they would be able to stay online for about ~30-40 minutes and then get kicked offline but would sign back on almost immediately. Their solution was to get the home hub replaced, they replied back a week later saying their problem was fixed. Now, that's just a suggested solution but it's as close to the problem your facing as I could find on the BT Community forums.

Let us know if you do indeed get a new home hub from BT if these problems do get resolved so other people having these issues as well can go through the same steps and can find some sort of resolution to their problem. I'm sorry I wasn't able to give you a speed resolution to the problem.
