Disconnect when starting a game

Every time I start a game by disk it disconnects and dashboards then reconnects right away?  I can still use other apps like netflix and games I bought off the dashboard but not physical disks. Any help will be helpful thx

Hey mate, that does sound really odd. I've seen this issue a bit and generally if it's disconnecting at the start of a game and reconnecting straight after deleting the profile from the console (profile only), clear the system cache, restart the console and re-download your profile and it should clear it up.

Though as it's only with disc based games I'm not entirely sure if the above will work.

Delete and re-download profile: support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

Clear system cache: support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

Try clearing your Xbox 360's network settings to factory defaults.

Navigate to Xbox Network settings and select Configure Network. Select the Additional settings tab and Restore network settings to factory defaults.
