Disconnect during gameplay

What Country/State/Province do you live in? New York
Network Connection Type:
Wired (ICS)
Is UPnP Enabled? Unknown
Is NAT Type Open? Unknown (college network), but I don't get any NAT errors
Any Error Codes you encounter:  No error is returned, but if I press Y on the test screen, I get this Error Status Report:

W: 0000 - 000B
X: 0600 - F001
Y: 20A8 - 4840
Z: 0000 - 0000
ID: FFFF - FFFF

I use ICS to connect to my laptop, which is connected to my college's network wirelessly. I can't connect to my college's wireless network through the Xbox 360 directly, because I have to use an internet browser to login before using the internet. Gaming works fine on the laptop. Using Marvel vs Capcom 3 as a test game, I can get, at most, through a single match before I am disconnected from Xbox Live. I can sign back in easily, and I am only disconnected when playing or looking for a match online.

Hi! Could you try running speedtest.net on the laptop while the Xbox 360 is connected and posting the results here?

Okay, that's fast. :) Can you try bridging the connection instead of using ICS? It would be the second option on this link: support.xbox.com/.../win-computer

When I attempt a network bridge, it says I have an insufficient MTU setting.

Hmm, okay. That might be the cause of the issue. Can you contact your University's network admin and ask what the MTU setting is?

Apparently, the MTU setting is 1500. I'm still having the problem with any connection method that I try.

Have you tried deleting and re-enabling the bridge? Or reinstall ICS using this guide? support.xbox.com/.../connect-xbox-360-console-xbox-live-with-computer-978618

Alright, last question, which might be an obvious one but I have to ask - are you making sure that you are logged in on your laptop before attempting to connect? If that doesn't help, I would have to advise that you contact your network administrator to see if they have blocked Xbox LIVE from their network.
