Disc Unreadable

So I can't really play my xbox games on my xbox. I put them in and it recognizes them but when i go to play they play for like 5 minutes and then freeze or go disc unreadable or they just go disc unreadable off the start. I dont really know what the problem is.

Sounds like the disc drive might be going bad.

I also forgot that when i try to download my games they stop like half way through the download and say disk and sctratched etc.
