nice!

EA offered the goodies for Dead Space 3 separate from the actual game order. There's no reason that can't extend to other titles.

I knew it.

What are the advantages of having a digital game though? Never really looked into it

Well, you don't have to use discs, you don't have to go anywhere to buy it, you can download and play them on any console, etc.

So once your account has it, you can play it on any Xbox One, as long as you log in?

Mainly switching games without having to get up and change the disc, also you don't have to store discs.

@Rhymes Yeah digital games are tied to your account rather than your box so you can play your game on any Xbox One you're logged into

Next I want to hear about this rumored to be under consideration.....buying back of digital games.

Fan Bloody Tastic!

Other advantage on X1 is instant switching between games.

One of the Phils went on the record to say that the only thing they are giving up out of their original vision is the 24 hour check in and used games restrictions, and that for digital games they are still committed to bringing in all of the extra features they had planned. What exactly this means and when these features will roll out we can't say, but it at least speaks to the possibility of things like digital game gifting or resales and sharing.
