I have been trying to delete my old silver account from my Microsoft account as my Xbox live currently sits on a friends Microsoft account. The issue is very simple, I believe, yet after almost 4 months of talking to 'specialist advisors, both via the support page, email and the phone nothing has been done/changed nor have I really had any help on the matter. It has got to the point where I am very, very close to cancelling my membership and moving over to the hated Play Station!!!!!
This is my issue, I was posted to Germany with the British Army, whilst there I got my first Xbox - due to internet issues and so on I eventually had to set p a silver account on my friends Microsoft account. I have since moved back to the UK, I now have Xbox live - however, I can not delete my silver account from my Microsoft account in order to enable me to re-affiliate my GOLD LIVE account with MY Microsoft account.
I am literally at my wits end, the advisors are simply unable to provide anything other that - ummmm....that's strange, if you can not do it just set up another Microsoft account in order to change it that way. Apologies but that is simply not what I asked for, you are customer support...so support the customer.
I did not mean for this to become a rant but 4 months to get an account-gamertag change actioned is not acceptable.
Completely let down, dissatisfied, paying, disillusioned and very nearly a Playstation customer.
