Dear Microsoft,

I have been a loyal customer for almost four years now. Before this I had a PS2 for over 5 years. The day after I got it I bought an extra controller for it, it cost me £10 and has been working ever since, which is why it bugs me that when I pay £35 for a controller for the Xbox 360, it doesn't last 8 *** months.

Please make your peripherals less crappy.

If you are having the issue where, for example, playing call of duty and having turning issues, sprinting issues, or any issues with your thumbsticks, you can open it, clean it, and boom, perfect. If you cannot open it, then click your thumbsticks down, and exhale air inside the thumbsticks really hard and your thumbsticks should be working perfectly. If you are having sticky buttons, It is your sweat. If it is broken, then you take gears of war way too seriously :)

I have an original controller from when I bought my first Xbox 360 console in 2007. It still works great. I would recommend trying not to be so aggressive.

It's not that I'm aggressive, I take very good care of my things, I don't think I've ever been angry at a game in the past three years, I've never thrown my controller and I usually try to clean them too. It just won't connect. Tried multiple battery packs, tried re-syncing, the thing just doesn't want to connect.

To be sure it is just your controller and not the console, take the controller to a friends house and see if it will sync with theirs.

Do others use this controller?  You may not be aggressive when you play but perhaps others are.

I know that when my son plays he has his own controller because he pushes a little too hard on the sticks.

Nope, just me. I wasn't looking for a solution, I was just venting because I have bought a ridiculous amount of hardware and peripherals for the Xbox in the past 4 years.
