Deadliest warrior: legends cannot connect after purchase through promotion

I bought deadliest warriors: Legends through the holiday promotion for 400 msp, then when I start it just kicks me off like it's going to fetch the update, but it doesn't, and as I return to my dash board I am still connected to live, I check all my other arcade games and it's just this one, is there something wrong or is this game not an online one?

Hello all! Are you still having this issue? If so, have you tried clearing your console's cache? For a how to, check out: support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache Let us know if that helps! :)

Sorry to hear that! Can you please give the following steps a try, in this exact order?

1. Move any and all game files to a USB configured for use with Xbox 360.
2. Delete the game.
3. Clear the console cache.
4. Re-download the game from download history.

I've re-downloaded the game several times. It either kicks me off xbox live whenever I download it, downloads the trial version instead, or both. I'll try clearing the cache, but this is ridiculous.

Hey guys, if the steps I listed haven't resolved the issue, I highly recommend contacting the developer of the game, the publisher, or both. They will be able to patch any ongoing issues with the game.

Mister Fitzer, how do we go by doing this? the ea team told me to do what you said for other games and it worked once, but then never again(needed to update dragon age dlc), and doing those steps every time to connect to a game when it's only a few games is frustrating, it's better to just play offline always then to try to connect every time

From those links I provided, you will want to find an avenue to contact their support. If they don't already have a solution to share, multiple reports of the issue should drive them to create a patch for the game.

Seriously... Is Sivarius and I the only saps that downloaded this game during the holiday sale? I tried the clearing cashe thing, that was a no go... I'll try what y'all say above, but this is BS for a arcade game to do this. BTW I would of come back to this thread soon if I could find it on xbox.com without having to do a google search. It doesnt come up under any search on the site associated with "Deadliest Warrior" or "Deadliest Warrior Legends". Also I believe as a gold member you should not have to contact a developer for anything if a game wont connect to live, one would think $60 a month makes that someone elses job to do. Thanks

Hey Val, I definitely understand your point. By contacting the developer and publisher, though,  it brings the attention to light for them, and reinforces the notion that there's a legitimate issue that needs to be resolved. We are definitely addressing this issue on our side as well, though. :-)
