Day One Update Fail / Power Issue

Hey everyone,

Every time I tried downloading the day one update, it would complete, however the Xbox would never restart. The only way I could get the Xbox to turn back on was unplugging the power cord and plugging it back in. The Xbox stays on, but that was the only way to start it up. Microsoft Support thought the issue was due to my Power Supply not maintaining power. I sent my Power Supply in on Dec 5 to be replaced, but haven't heard back. I haven't had an opportunity to try another Power Supply. I'm hoping it's not the Xbox itself because I would then have to send that in also. 

Has anyone run into this issue?

Hey there! I'm sorry to hear about the power issues. Let's see what we can do to get things sorted.

Just to be sure that we're all on the same page, you have sent your Power Supply in for a replacement and haven't heard anything since? If that's the case, I suggest using the Contact Us page to set up a support call with a repair specialist who might be able to get an update for you.
