Data deleted from external HDD after Profile Migration

Hi,

I owned Xbox 360 and I transferred my profile from it into external HDD. After that I sold it. Today I bought new Xbox, however it came out, that someone from my family, deleted all files from external HDD few days ago.

I thought that not everything is lost, as they are some tools to recover data from HDDs. Unfortuneatly I have no idea how Xbox profile is saved. I recovered data from my HDD whole night but there is a lot of files, and I have no idea if any of them is associated with XBox.

I would really appreciate your help with that one.

Hi ElectroMessiah,

It is probable that the data recovered is at least in part your Xbox Data, when you copied the data did you put it in a specific place on the drive?

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.

I'm sorry about your issue, but unfortunately there is no official means to retrieve Xbox data from an external hard drive to transfer to another device via a PC.  I'm afraid that once your data is deleted, there is no way to recover it.

You can always recover your Gamertag via your console, and your downloaded content can all be downloaded again from your Purchase History.  I'm afraid that your save games are gone for good though, sorry.
