I have had most router makes and models overtime, and found the D-Links to be one of the worst of the bunch. I'm sure it is down to models and firmware itterations . But I always tend to go for the top models. All the NetGear routers I have owned have been
very poor on coverage and signal strength.
The best router I have owned so for, is the Billion 7800N. It is flawless and has extremely good coverage and signal strength right across my home, and at the moment, it has around 10 wireless devices connected to it.

I agree with my good friend above though, that Belkin are very poor.
