Testing the Xbox Live Connection is a much simpler and quicker way to force your account to update than deleting and recovering the profile.

Ok my memebership expired aug 4 @2am but ive upgraded before (august 2) with a 3months gold membership now it says i can connect to xbox live and i cant delete and recover my acc cuz the email i use on xbox live has been hacked by someone Sep 20 2010 and this is a big problem for me, guys i just need help seriously

If you have more than one profile, ensure that you redeem the code to the correct gamer profile. You should also have received an email about renewal confirmation for prepaid 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold. Make sure you received this confirmation from MSFT *Xbox LIVE.
