coping saved game data on a old 360 memory card. can i?

i use a Slim 360 and i have put a good amount of time on some games i have. (resident evil/mvc3 ect)

if i get one of those older 360 memory cards (the 500 MB ones)  can i copy data from my hardrive to my memory card? WITHOUT deleting/removing the data i have on my 360 slim hardrive?

like.. copy the data on the memeory card, take the card to a friends house and keep going where i left off on my game.  or if my 360 was to ever break... i would have a back up.

thanks guys

I'd just like to add that any USB flash drives will work, as long as they are at least 1GB in storage size and a maximum of 16GB.

Yes you can.  As a matter of fact, you can use just about any type of usb device.  Just put it in the system and format it for use with the xbox.  To put the saves on the usb stick, just select copy.  Do not choose move as that will move all the data from one device to the other.

Actually to clarify, the old Xbox memory cards do not work with the Slims. A USB drive will.
