controlling the time online

I am wondering if there is a way to set a time limit like from 3pm to 8pm M-F. With the "family timer" I have to be home to put in the passcode so my child can play online. I don't want that.  Does anyone know if there is anything that will only allow gaming online to be from a certain time that i have control over.

That would help alot.

You can also set your router to allow your Xbox to be online at certain times. That of course depends on the internal setting of your router. See your router  manufacture for more information.

Well you can only control how long they can play on the Xbox 360 itself, no matter what they are playing.

What you can do is that you can set the console to only play for a certain amount of time each day or even each week. You can set the daily timer in increments of 15 minutes and the weekly timer in increments of 1 hour, so you can determine exactly how long your child can play. Notifications will pop up every now and then to let your child know how long they have left. And when you want to play, or you want to let your child play longer, you just tap in your password.
