Controller Trigger Locking Up

I think there may be an issue with the trigger rumble device in the left trigger of my day one controller. the controller will occasionally lock up in various positions during use. this can sometimes be remedied by shaking the controller, but i'd like a more permenant solution.

G'day Viper. I have to ask the silly question - how recently have you replaced the batteries? And is the battery compartment securely shut? Often times the rumble stopping in the controller is a sign of the battery needing replacement.

It's not so much that the rumble is stopping as i think it and possibly part of the trigger itself aren't' attached properly. It's actually blocking the trigger from depressing. probably should have made that more clear, sorry
