Controller Problem

I have recently went onto my xbox today and my controller wont turn on and when i plug it into my play and charge cable, home button, start button, rt,rb,lb and a hardly works, i have to press a multiple times for it to function any help on this?

I think it a bad controller. Tried other controllers on your system. And tried your controller on a friend console.

You can either return items to retailer for exchange/money back or log on to xbox.com, support and service center. Register the console and write up a service repair/exchange for your controller.

Try this:

1. Plug controller into Xbox via USB

2. Hold down both the controller's Xbox button and menu button for 10 seconds, or until it turns on

If the controller turns on, update the controller following the instructions at support.xbox.com/.../update-controller-for-stereo-headset-adapter
