Controller on windows 7

Hi, I have the controller installed on the laptop. Device manager says it is working fine.

I go to control panel and in the game controllers, it says there is nothing there.

I push the power button on the controller and it just keeps flashing.

Any help, please ? :o)

Yes, it's a wireless controller, but with the lead attached.

The USB charging cable for the wireless controller does not carry data. The reason Windows "sees" it is for the purposes of charging only. To use a wireless controller with Windows requires the Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows.
