Hi I was just wondering, what happens if I clear my cache on my xbox & what happens if I reset my settings to factory default with live & without live? Also is formatting the storage the same as resetting settings to factory?
Clear cache is clearing up any data that old, and preventing you from your profile or game. Its just like when you clear your browser cache.
Any accounts on Xbox LIVE wouldn't be affect or lost, because its stored on the Xbox servers. If they aren't Xbox LIVE accounts. The factory default, is when you first start up your Xbox for the first time, getting the welcome screen and doing introduction
stuff and messing with your screen settings/audio. Offline account shouldn't be affected with this.
When you format a storage device, all of the information saved on that device is erased and cannot be recovered. Make sure that you either do not want the information stored on that device or have backed up the information to another device before you continue.
Did this solve your problem?
Sorry this didn't help.
