Console not detecting any wifi or ethernet. Tried all MS Troubleshooting exercises... anyone have this issue and how was it resolved?

I am unable to access Xbox Live or get any type of internet connectivity on my console.  It was working fine since I purchased it over a year and half ago, and now it can not detect any internet through wifi or ethernet.... Has anyone encountered this issue?

Sorry you're having issues with your network connection. First thing I would check and see if there is a link light to where you're plugging the Xbox into (Example: Switch,Router). If there is a link light do you see activity? If you do not see any link light try another cable, or port on that switch or router. If you have a known good cable and known good port on the router then the Xbox may need service which is at the link below. If you are getting activity, but cannot get connected run the connection test at the link below. Post back and let us know!!!
