Received my console back from Microsoft Repair Center for second time in two months (enjoy your extra $100 Bill Gates).
Connected everything back together directly to the modem EXACTLY the same as it was before it mysteriously stopped working.
(repair center never tells you what was wrong with your console, they just send it back to you. maybe it works, maybe it doesn't)
Same DSL connection. Internet working fine, obviously.
Same modem. Speedstream 5100.
Getting the MTU must be 1364 error. First time t has ever happened.
How can an error just suddenly start happening when no configuration, software, firmware, updates, or cable changes have been made?
I am not interested in having a bunch of shut-ins teach me to become a trained network engineer, I'd just like to be able to shoot some zombies like I am paying for.
I have run the troubleshooting steps that are endlessly repeated on here, they do nothing.
