Console Cannot Connect To Xbox Live

Ever since I have moved my router downstairs my connection on my Xbox 360 has been bad. It was four bars but now it is two. Now I know it's not that I've moved it, its just how its changed since. It says that I am connected to my router and it sometimes connects for a few minutes but then disconnects. I need this fixed now because the longer it is down, the more money I am wasting on Xbox Live where I'm not even online. To sum it up, I sign in on my Xbox but it has not connected to Xbox Live. Whenever I try to log in it says that my console cannot connect to Xbox Live. I have been connected for around two years now and this has suddenly happened. Please help.
