After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" press “Y” for "More Info”. In the pop-up that appears, what are the following values, if shown? (If a value below does not appear for you, just leave it blank.)

A sequential power cycle is the first step in clearing a problem, and the order and timing of the steps is important to success:

1) turn off the Xbox then
2) unplug power from the router (Some folks have a combination modem-router AKA 'gateway' or only use a modem with no router. If either, skip steps 3 & 6).
3) unplug power from the modem.
4) Wait at least 5 minutes then replug the modem/gateway power.
5) Wait 'til the light on the front of the modem/gateway which says ONLINE, READY, CABLE or DSL is on solid (not flashing), then plug in the router. If you have a gateway instead of a modem and router or a modem with no router, then when that light says it's ready, skip to step 7.
6) Wait until the WiFi light on the router is on; you may not use WiFi, but it's still a good indicator your router is finished booting up.
7) Turn on the Xbox & retest.

B) Does your Xbox have a black, white or chromed power button?

 

C) If the power button is black or white, which wireless adapter are you using? One antenna or two? Does it have XBOX 360 printed on the body of the adapter?

 

D) Please go to http://www.dlink.com/uk/en/support/product/dir-300-wireless-g-router and find which version of the DIR-300 you have, then download its manual for future reference on the UPnP issue. Which version of the DIR-300 does it show you have?

Appreciate if you could post up the model number of your Motorola, Comcast gateway as well.

As a first step clear your Xbox system cache. This will remove temporary files from the system cache.

Make sure UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is enabled on your D-link router. You may also want to make sure your router is up-to-date with the latest version of firmware. Visit D-link webpage and verify if you have the very latest version of firmware.

Thanks for your answer. Motorola model number is SB5101. I did everything from your list and cache is cleared. I tryed connect directly without router - not successfully (( It works properly for a week, but since yesterday doesn't(((

Ah, but these are the specific instructions I suggested above, not the canned instructions. Did you do the five minute power cycle?

 

Please also advise:

 

A) Which model of Motorola do you have? The model number starts with SB about 80% of the time.
