Connection problem

I have a connection problem to Xbox LIVE, I've already tried ALL the steps in the solutions guide but didn't work. I have a ZTE zxv10 W300 Modem and a Nexxt Stealth router. Nothing seems to work.

Hi there im very sorry to hear that,

I'm assuming you have already tried to forward all xbox live required ports on your router as stated here: support.xbox.com/.../nat-type-strict

If so mite i suggest also attempting to see if your router is capable of 'DMZ Hosting' and if so set the IP address that your xbox uses to be the DMZ Hosting address which will allow your xbox to have unrestricted access to the internet

I'm using wireless connection...and it worked just fine until I changed my pc for a Mac, I had no problems with my router or modem....I followed all the steps suggested by xbox support....but I have no idea how to check that DMZ hosting

DMZ hosting is a great way to boost your xbox live connection but not all routers have the ability to do it. i suggest googling your router with the phrase 'DMZ' and seeing if its able to and if so then just follow the instructions on how to and when it says to insert the IP address you would like to DMZ put in the IP address your xbox runs on

P.S. I would also try clearing your xbox cache by going to system settings then storage then highlight your hard drive and press Y then choose the "clear system cache' option then reboot your router, modem and xbox and see if that fixes the problem
