Connection issues with 2 Xbox's

Hey everyone,

My roommate and I recently got internet in our apartment through Shaw. With it came a Cisco DPC 3825 router. We hadn't had any problems until recently, when we both went to use our xbox's in separate rooms. Whoever was using their xbox first would usually drop connection to live within 5 minutes of the other starting, or the other would never be able to connect. However, after waiting anywhere from 5 minutes to two hours, service often comes back to both.

What would be causing this to happen? Although it's not a HUGE issue by any means, it would be a lot more convenient if we wouldn't have to wait so long if we ever wanted to play online together in certain games, or watch netflix in one room and play in the other.

Info that may be helpful:

Cisco DPC 3825 Router

1 360s, internal adapter

1 100GB 360, with white external adapter

UPnP:  No idea what this even is.

NAT: No errors, Open

ISP: Shaw (Canada)

Upon testing, Internet works fine, it just cannot seem to connect to Live for some reason.

Thanks for all the help!!

Hey there, I see back in this thread, someone was able to resolve this issue with some port triggering. Can you give that a shot?

Did this solve your problem?
