Connection Error, Unable to Connect

I am having some difficulty connecting to my Live Gold Account at the moment. I've ran my Network Test Configuration for the Live Connection and it is pulling up explanation points on Service Alert and Download for some reasons.. does anyone know what my problem might be and/or how I could cure this? Would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Clint
