Connecting to XBOX Live

I have tested my network connections.

network connection: passed

internet connection: passed

xbox live connection: passed

But when I try to sign in it tells me that my xbox live connection has been lost. I have tried resetting the modem and restoring factory defaults, but continue to get the same message.

Hey there Lightning! Can you clarify, are you able to sign in and then get disconnected, or are you unable to sign in at all? Does this affect all profiles on your console, or just yours? Also, please post back with the answers to the bold questions found here (forums.xbox.com/.../155724.aspx). Thanks!

I fixed this problem! You have to just re-download your profile! First sign out of your profile then pull up the guide and click download profile. Next type your email and password that you used to create the account and wait for it to download, next restart your console and its fixed!
