connecting from my netbook

Allright so I found out today that I could hook up a internet connection to my xbox through a Either net cord and a computer so I follow the instructions and I get to the point where I need to enable Internet Sharing thats where my problem starts I check it and then click ok. I get a message saying

An Error Has occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled.

Internet Sharing cannot be enabled.

A LAN connection is already configured with the IP address that is required for automatic IP addressing.

Now I have attempted to look into how to solve this myself before trying to post this and there doesn't seem to be anything out their that shows me how to fix this error I receive.
