Connecting console to surround system

Hi,

I would like to connect my xbow-console to my surround-system. There is no HDMI output on my console however... The only cable is the red, white and yellow one, but the end of the cable is too short to go in both my TV and in my surround-system... :( Help please?

Thank you

Hey OP, sounds like you may either need to re-arrange your setup, purchase a new video cable, or purchase a console with HDMI output.

There are 3rd party adapters out there to allow you to hook a non-HDMI model Xbox to HDMI.  Not sure of the quality, but worth looking into.

Does your console have optical audio out? That should be capable of doing full surround sound once you configure your amplifier correctly.
