I recieved a message saying i cannot play on xboxlive until i have 2 security proofs. When i went to add them i could not because one of them I dont have acces to and the only way i can add more proofs is to confirm with the one i do not have acces to. I have gone to my microsoft account and added in new proofs and deleted the old one. But it says it will take a month to confirm the new proofs and it will take a month to delete the old one. when i try to do the same on my xbox it says i need to change this now and that iam at risk. I recieve the code 80049c0b. i do not understand this is there a way to speed this up it says my account might be deleted if i do not fix this. please help.

  • Go to Manage your security info and sign in with your Microsoft account.
  • Select Add New under Phone number or under Alternate email address.
  • Follow the instructions to set up and confirm the new proof.
  • If you already have a proof on your account, you might need to use that proof to verify the addition of a new proof.

    Note Proofs can be added to new accounts without validation for a short period. Existing accounts will need to have their proofs validated by using an existing proof.

  • If you’re unable to access any of your current proofs (such as a phone number you don’t recognize or an expired email account), see Get help with your Microsoft account security proofs.

Hello this is similar to mine, I got a message telling me to add 2 security proofs, and so far I've trued doing it via text, I put my number in and received the code but when I try to verify on the computer it goes around in circles, I click confirm tells me to access via my suggested PC which I was using at the time then when I click on it takes me back to the page to confirm then back on access on PC again and over and over again..

haveing issue with this too. with my E-mail tells me to check e-mail and there is nothing there. mno E-mail no new spam nothing
