OK, on with the question:-

Have got back into playing CoD4 recently but am finding all these modder messages scrolling down the screen during on-line MP games. Is there anyway to stop them appearing?

go to the cod4 forum,you will learn everything you need to know there plus why its not worth playing it any more.

Ofc its worth playing since it's back to the basics and in its prime it was one of the best FPS if not the best imo
