Greetings!
Appreciate if you could post up the error code.

May I ask you if you are located outside the US?

When you try to verify your child's account, do you do this by asking your child to sign in to www.xbox.com with his/her child account for this verification method? Then, when prompted, you should sign in with your account (associated with the child account) to www.xbox.com and give permission for your child's account, so that he/she can sign in to Xbox Live.

If you follow the steps above, could you tell us if you get pass to the stage where to make a payment for this verification method.

Thank you!

We've also got this. Try this method, it seems to work - when your child tries to log in on the xbox, untick the "remember password" option then try to log in. When the error message is on screen, do a short press on the silver X button in the middle of the controller, the error screen should disappear and they will be logged on! This worked for my son and we are also in the UK. Good luck.

Here's what I did I went on my own xbox and installed my sons profile on it and turned the child settings off to adult .. Then reinstalled it back on his own xbox and it worked ..
